How LightWave and Digital Fusion were used to develop and composite the rain,
splashes, clouds, haze, smoke and lava effects for Raven Tales, Canada 's 3D
series based on Northwest Coast Native American myths and folklore. By using
these methods, they cut their render times by a third or more, giving them the
opportunity to make a lot more tweaks and fixes on the character layers.
